Welcome to the first post of the Europe and the Netherlands posts! We travelled in winter, which although not the ideal time of year, it was still definitely worth it. I didn't mind the cold, the wet was less fun but the most frustrating part was that it was dark for so long. You end up leaving in the dark and coming back to dinner in the dark.
